it should be able to, as long as you're not sending planes going across the map bombing everything in sight with artilleries blowing shells into town and elevators going every which way and all that, if not too much is going at the same time and you have a decent server you should be fine.

Nice work bro, if you want more stuff to pinch all my maps have the map file in the pk3, take all you want.

Just another update i taken some prefabs from wacko site and used his bridge i hope to use Tom Trude lift in my hotel :)

Yeah Tom has made some awesome gadgets, fit them in where you can. He made me a totally awesome crain that loads and unloads a crate. Mighty nice.

Its coming along nicely as i have had the week off work :) but now i start again :) so not much spare time and the stuff i would liek to do with it i cant do :( not got the skill and never will do.

If anyone has got the abilty to make a truck that allows players to jump in the back for a free ride to another part of the map then would you be able to make it for me,

right click and select SAVE TARGET AS..

to help u out, whosoever would need more information:
should this truck continously go this way?
back and forth with turning at eack end?
is there some space where the truck could turn? c/would u change the map layout to make this possible?
should it wait at each end? for how long?

if anybody started doing it, he should say so, btw. some may not start because they think somebody else already did :wink:

does not need to turn around just follow the basic road i re-created in the .map file i guess a trigger in the truck where the players stand would start the script it would then move and then stop at the end of the road. Sound would be great.

Wakco are u able to make it? i hoping it be a 10 min job for the experts.

U will get a shout out on loading screen or i cant advertise you site in the map file itself like a poster?

I dont know who else to ask. i dont have the skill + time as i'm already in my girlfreind bad books for spending to much time on this map :(

so, it'll just move ONCE from startpoint to endpoint? u sure?

Yes correct it would move once from the start point which would give a moment for the players to jump in. to the end point and then stop to allow the players to jump out then the truck would stay still. The route taken is not a straight line as u can see by the map. it has a 2 sharp left turns and 2 sharp right turns and 2 slopes.

Wacko will this be easy? i dont want to cause a lot of work. Its just someting i always wanted in my map. and i will be sharing the map file scripts and textures with all at your site when map released if u allow.

Did not read all of the thread here so ignore me if I'm stating the obvious:
THis is a feature that is in the "eagles nest" map ( the sniper map where you kill Hitler ). THat truck goes back and forth.

anyway. I took the truck from a Manstein tutorial and put it into ur map.
here u are: test_truckplease.zip. Not sure whether this is what u wanted :?
Some tweaking of the truck's speed is still neccessary, but i'm sure u'll get it. (it's the info_splinepath's speed key)
And: Please, don't mention my name, rather Manstein's :wink:
