i suggest a wilder background, it's far too tame and i mistook it for a plain sky blue background at first. MAke it interact with the foreground, for instance try layering some of the uh, swooshes, in between the A or O. Or make some formation around the triad.
I'm no artist though, but thats just what appeals to me.

I'm not overly fond of clutter... thanks for the input... im not sure I can see adding anything to the 'background' though... its already 2 layered effects, not counting the double frame. Actualy i put the second layer(which is a simple diber render overlay) to mute the solidness of the underlaying liquid layer.... (it originally looks like the backing of my attached sig, cept the swirl wasnt nearly as pretty.)
hmmm you really think the background is tame?
