OK, fixed the dynamically wide logo at the top. Stupid IE did not get that it was a link, so I had to tell it explicitly to show the "link mouse cursor"

But if you have trouble with it in any strange browser: please let me know ( tested and approved in Firefox and IE6 ).

Crap, just tested in my 1600x1200 resolution at school. The bitmaps are now wide enough... fix it tonight.

I kind of find CSS design fun... am I sick? :)

border

Post by tltrude »

I think the black borders on the sides should be wider. People with 17-15 inch monitors will not see the same as us who have 20-19 inch monitors. Thier view of our posts will be squashed or have a slide at the bottom of the screen.

My res is set at 1280 x 1024 (19 inch monitor) and there is only about a 1/8 inch border now. Maybe a 768 table width (17 inch monitor) would be better.

Not sure I get what you meam Tom, are you suggesting goin back to a fixed width forum?

As it is now the forum will use any width available ( and I finally fixed the logo bitmap, it will now dynamically space from a widht of around 700 to infinity width ).

"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".
