do u have an origin?
if you have an origin set it will always move along the origin face

changing the
key: angle
value: 0 90 180 or 270
will change the direction it's moving
hope this helps, prob not cos it's all foreign 2 me :-/

Ooo...these damn sliding doors!

Post by Zip »

Hi again,

Nope I don't have an origin set. The tutorial doesn't tell me to use an origin for a sliding door. Maybe you could look at the tutorial too and see what you make of it? That would be very much appreciated :)

Now that's odd!

I just made my door again, put in the same angle (270) and it worked! Must have been something I did wrong before, who knows?

Anyway, thanks for your help nuggets :D

Really thin brush

Post by Zip »

Hey hey,

I can't work out how to make a really thin brush.

My aim: I'm trying to put a wooden frame around a door. I want it to poke out from the wall just a tiny bit (so it isn't flush with the wall).

My problem: The thinest/smallest brush I can make is x=8, y=8 which I think pokes out too much!! Is it possible to make a brush x=2, y=2 or something just as small??

Does it have anything to do with scales? I didn't want to mess with the scale settings incase I mess up MOHAARadiant SDK!

Hey hey,

I'm back with yet another question  Actually, it's more of a grovel

I want to do the Light beam tutorial, but I can't make the textures (I only have crappy Paint for windows to draw stuff  )

I there some kind soul out there that would make them for me and send them to me?
