omg!!!, don't think i'm getting angry, i'm just expressing my opinion (as you asked) ;)

you seem to know little about the war itself except what u've heard on tv, if you didn't hear it on tv u hear it from friends or colleagues, so surely if you were paying more attention to the news u'd of heard aobut the the war between palestine and israelis, and between zimbabwe's and white farmers,

Bush and Blair both committed themselves to world peace and removing all possilbe attacks ofwar where it stood and abolish all forms of terorism, if you've yet to see or hear the news about these places (and N.Korea) then listen to what people are saying...

i don't agree with that Bush and Blair still actually stick to their word about cleansing the world of terrorists and unless you haven't heard this, you can't just believe what just goes on the tv as "real news", things go on in this world that we know little about... listen to people that do know

that's very true nuggets. Remember the civil war in Rwanda? I don't remember any tv coverage of that ugly ugly war, but millions of people died in it. The media shows what it wants to show, and we can't afford to forget that. I find it very ironic that the media tells us that if we pay attention to it we are informed and that people who have been watching CNN 24/7 for the duration of the war consider themselves informed as to what is happening.

Just a little note: I'm not French Canadian as I think hashmark might of implied (I'm not sure, but just to be clear..).

yes that is indeed very true nuggets. and i cannot just sit around watching the news all day so i had no idea about the possible conflict between Zimbabwe and such... Come on.. im only 15 :P and where did i say that you were getting angry... or atleast imply that? i looked over my post and didnt see anything that implied that i thought you were angry... And for the news only showing some things.. i completely agree with you on that. The news only tells us what they want. its almost as bad as the iraqi information minister... "The coalition forces are not in baghdad" haha

I am past caring about it now, but I did find this site today,

http://www.welovetheiraqiinformationminister.com/

good stuff, some fave quotes from the minister are

"My feelings - as usual - we will slaughter them all" :)

"We have them surrounded in their tanks"

An insanely optimistic view of the war from inside Iraq :)

You gotta give the guy some kudos for blatently lying his face off .... but who knows if his family was being threatened or not ??? There were some good jokes on Radio 5 the other day about replacing Alistair Campbell (Tony Blair's "spin" doctor) with him...

I thought he would make a great replacement for Murray Walker
