The camera positioning is almost complete.
But i have to figure out a way to make the camera follow the tank in that position.

You can make the camera follow the tank, if it has a targetname. Here is an HTML doc from the Spearhead SDK:

In my tutorial map it follows a path and watches a script_origin target at the flagpole, but you can change it to follow anything with a targetname.

Ive already tried that but the camera is in the wrong position when i use the follow command and plus i dont know how to move the camera higher

Ive already tried orbit_height but thats only 4 orbits

If you look at that sample script it shows how to move the camera above the players origin by 64 units:
// move the cameras origin to the players position
local.pos = $player.origin + (0 0 64)
$watch_camera movetopos local.pos
The numbers are XYZ, and Z is the up and down axis.

but then how do you make the camera follow in that position?
