for me 6 & 8 too, but the fade is not that good: MEDAL OF HONOR = white and then MAPPING = yellow.
It must more look like this:

Hehe I still think 4 is way more elegant than 8
as 8 seems to ask for more than reasonable attention (shouting)... 6 is a bit too cliche I think...
Anyway I'll make a poll out of this

I agree, exept that I prefer 8 because the CAPS corresponds better with the .MAP logotype.

As for the fade not looking correct that's only because of the colour loss due to the low quality jpeg.
@Bjarne: I emailed you the new versions and the psd files.

You REALLY like that sig, dont you M&M...
yes,it seems i just cant let the green dude go .
and about the logo
in 5 and 6 adding the bold to the capital letters kinda gets to me .seems more like shouting than in 7 and 8 .
however 7 & 8 look beter imo ,but i dont see a reason to fade in the yellow colour .so ill go for 7 if only the "of" is capital since it looks nice in 5 & 6 (without bold).

banners 5 & 6 use the Stencil/
A-team font which unfortunately has no other styles. whether or not everything should be in caps is a matter of taste again. sorry guys but I just had to draw the line somewhere.

i like 8 the best but i dont like the lower-case "o" on 'of'.. looks a bit outa place.
