knows id love to try. All she has to do is help me by recording herself and the correct pronouciation. or write me a quick crash course on pronouncing all the sounds correctly. Has to forgive me for my poor spelling as i have just woken up and cant see the monitor yet.

okay:
dr - that's just a d and an r (in fact you can't really pronounce this as it's without a vowel but nvm that's bernese...)

paapsht - with a long a (like in 'far'); sh like in, umm, 'shot'

hett - h like in 'hotel' (needs to be pronounced); e like in 'met'

ts - one sound

shpeets - sh like 'shot'; 'ee' is in fact first double 'e' like in 'meet' but short with an 'e' like in 'bed' (so you gotta say a short 'e' like in 'meet' followed by an 'e' like in bed; ts same as above

tshpat - normal 't'; then sh; then p; 'a' like 'bad' but long and a normal 't'

pshteut - uh, that's a tough one... normal 'p'; then sh; then 't'; 'e' like in 'bed' followed by a 'u' like 00 in 'n00b'; and a 't'.

That's it

(hope it helps)

Edit: it means: the pope ordered the umm stuff you need to eat (fork, spoon and knive) in Spiez (place) too lately...
