I know uav's are operated remotely, imagine a little 4ft tall terminator thing that you can control, just like playing Mohaa, on your pc, its a tough little beast can take shots like the terminator, hyper alloy combat chassis which does not feel pain, or remorse and absolutely will not stop!!!
I would be absolutely brilliant at controlling that thing as im sure all of you would, I read recently how the young guys in the armed forces are super cool with the tech stuff as its like playing a game.
Just a weird thing I thought about.
Edit: I found that mule robot really quite weird to look at, creepy thing, I didnt like it.
Now that would be awesome!!! lil mini terminators dominating countries! lol

No, LED's are just light emitting diodes, voltage won't pass from one material to the other until it reaches its threshold.
Tom, thats funny as hell ! I'd like to see a video of the kid that swallowed the LED!

I think they need a new name like "TT's" (Techno Tagers). It probably wont be long before other tagers get long ladders and rearrange the LEDs, ha ha. The LEDs need small solor cells--so they will recharge during the daylight hours.

those nightwriters are awesome! but i can't imagine wanting to carry one around like that., and they'll probably be banned from using on stores and stuff before long

There are some other good videos on that site Jack posted. I love this one showing an LED Electro_Graf being painted. I can't get the song out of my head--lol.

This one is cool too. It shows a Geek Graffiti team in NYC using magnetic throwies to cover a large metal art statue. It gathers a large crowd which end up helping!

Borf

Opps, I got the name wrong it is "Borf". The tags say "Free Borf", but he is not in jail--he's dead!
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/co ... 02448.html

The Borf name is poping up all over the contry because he was a teenager that committed suicide in Great Falls, Maryland (near Washington DC) about three years ago. He has become a symbol of the "misunderstood youth" of America.

there are no misunderstood youth in the world, there are youth who do not understand the world.

Tiny batteries

OK, back to new tech stuff. MIT scientists have harnessed the construction talents of tiny viruses to build ultra-small "nanowire" structures for use in very thin lithium-ion batteries.
http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2006/virus-battery.html
This means they will soon be able to create batteries that are more effecient, longer lasting, and much lighter then they are now.

my guild just posted this... wow. that's cool.

it's not new, per-say, but since our computer have finally reached a powerful enough stage to be able to use this over keyboard/mouse/monitor, i think it might be an awesome game asset.
