Hey you Wacko!

It looks GREAT! I love the brushwork and your custom textures. I love the map in all its little details. I love the mood. I love the achitectural solutions.

One thing is not lovable however: The FPS... The large open space in the center makes most things visible from most places, dropping the FPS a bit to low for an enjoyable game. If you want the map to actually be played, you need to optimize the FPS a bit ( And it so happens I made a tutorial for just your situation called Vis_Leafgroup "hands on" tutorial ).

If this is not enough, you will have to insert brushes to block "line of sight" in the worst places.

But most of all: The mall ROCKS!!!

Bjarne, I will take a look regarding that! have to get a little distance though before opening it again (can't take it anymore ): First is Pegasus Bridge for 'Road to Caen'
But if anyone was a VIS fanatic, he would be welcome to get the shopp.map to optimize it!

it was planned in front of the movies exit in 3rd floor, there's place enough.
I'm not sure, though whether i'll go on with shopp. gameflow is not really good and performance is horrible on slower machines, both could only be enhanced by a complete new map layout.
in the moment we're making another map which will have to be finished first, maybe then i might start doing the arcade.
but look at the fps, they're so bad and there's not much i could do: too much open space, too much glass and that's what the map is about

anyone wanting to get the map file and give it a try himself?
