nice one man it won't dissapoint.

ok everyone soz i been a pain the reason i been a pain is cause well i sent my level out and ppl said there was textures missin! this got me annoyed cause took me ages to make and i knew ppl had to put up with it.

so i fixed the textures and it is all fine now... But ppl are saying there is bugs, and wateva, so if there are bad ones, or ones u know i can fix, then i will do because like Mog said.

i would love to try and make this the BEST SP custom made level out there :).

i made test_town and i promised it would be 9999 times better then that.

lets hope i don't dissapoint anyone while u dl and play it :)

hey man i just played your map. i couldnt finish level2, i just saw a dude in the distance and shot him, and my captain didnt follow me, so i just went to lvl 3... level 3 was a great idea, and the ending was great! i had low fps on lvl 2 though...

u couldn't finish. ok did u collect the documents?

cause when u have the docs, the gate should open to leave the town, then before you reach the truck ( a trigger is set) so ur captain says "powell get over here." and then he says "nice work." and then he gets snipered.

then a sniper general runs out the bushes and legs it. he can't get hurt and then the level is over.

nothign top big, but uh spelling error on the second loading screen I think it was transort which should be transport.

Its seems very long which I like, although on the texturing side I thought that if you release a new and improved edition later on(which you will have to do if you want the this to be the best sp map) I suggest custom textures being used and more objects like some rooms have just like a toilet in it or so.

as for your issue with trude, maybe you should have the second opening after the gate where all those people meet be like blocked and after they finish talking the germans blow up the wall or something.

Em I have a high end video card and some spots when there was a tonne of AI I had 4 fps, but fps overall was reasnably good at around 45

I found also some places too dark and it strayned my poor eyes too much.

Its a great effort which you've done and a later release I would definatly look forward too.

Also The First mission is just like what was realeased in moh, the beginning all the way up to our transport is destroyed. I understand that you needed it to start the story as I can see where its leading, so I'll give you a break on it.

I hope to see some mp maps from you in the future :)

hey serph, did your webmaster reply yet?


im working on making a mp map serph, its gonna be a beach landing map like omaha, but its gonna have different things in it. for example, you dont spawn on the shores already, you spawn in waves, and those waves have a quick trip to the shores, and its gonna be really fun. im also gonna have some ai on the allied side to help give them greater numbers.

yea i noticed my "transort" i was rushing to get the loading screen done.

i know how to spell TRANSPORT ppl. soz i jus left out the P by mistake.
also on the second loading screen i should add a FullStop some where i realised.

level 2 i know i have to edit in the future. but i think level 1 and 3 r ok.

Well the only thing that pissed me off in your game was, "so and so was snipered!" Why can't people get it!

Sniper - is the person sniping.
Sniped - is the past-tense for being shot by a sniper.
Sniping - The present-tense of a sniper shooting

Ok, I think I may have found the problem with level 2. Scene7_captain is triggered by a setthread of a trigger_once. Is it possible that the player could run over to the closed gate and destroy the trigger before the tank is blown up? I think I tried to open that gate with the use key before I blew up the tank.

If that is the case, then you could replace it with a trigger_multiple, move it away from the gate a little, give it a targetname, and remove it (or make it nottriggerable) in the scene7_captain thread.

Another way would be to make it nottriggerable to begin with, and then make it triggerable in the bomb4 thread--it would still need a targetname.

BTW, if you are wondering where I got your map, you put the backup copies of all three maps in the pk3--they end with ".bak".

I did finish level 2, but the captian got lost somewhere when I ran back to the start for med. So, he was not there at the end.

Also in level 3, the enemy can shoot through the hedge row bushes. You could fix that with some weapons clip brushes, I think. If you want to make the player visable at the end, you can put "setcvar cg_3rd_person 1" in the script, and "setcvar cg_3rd_person 0" turns it off.

Overall it is a great job!!!

i think the weaponclips will just stop the bullets, but they'd still go "over there!" and just look like there crazy... i fixed that in my map by making the hedgegrows really thin and putting a row of clip alls directly behind the hedgegrows...

Actor clip will keep them from going too close to the hedge, and you can turn down thier vision a little too.

i either use clip alls behind the hedges, or just my own sort of enemyspawners.

i was wondering how u got my level.

well ok hmmm

i have thought about wat u said... and if i do make the changes that would mean i would have to send out my level again to the sites, which could annoy alot of ppl who already have it.

1) i will fix the trigger after the gate, and put it before you blow the tank (which is before the tank.) OR i will put a clip in the way of the broken wall past the gate, which will go after the captain has stopped talking to the new men.

2) the bush textures, yes i know they can shoot through the bushes, i didn't like this either, hmm i didn't know how to fix this so may leave it.

3) if there are any other things u want me to fix, please can u tell me quick.



4)) WILL YOU ALL DL MY LEVEL AGAIN IF I MAKE THE FIX'S TO IT????????????

i might..but man level 2 was dark i was shooting rockets trying to see thru that sewer.. i ended up blowing myself up.. :|
