Who cares abotu EA's eula? Everyone knows they are modding for a privately owned game, and its has zero bearing on the discussion... is it me or did this guy try and find like 3 different ways to shift the subject from personal responsibility for someoens actions when they rip someone else off? He's either jsut clinging on for arguements sake, out of a personal vendetta, or cause he actually thinks people should steal whatever they want?
I can only assume most of you dont care about legal rights to most of your 'mods' at least thats not what THIS is about. This is about people who steal. We dont like them, we dont need them, and frankly we'd prefer to see them not 'benefit' from false claims.... unless im way off. To me its like cheaters. The 'ignore them, they arent really imopacting you' approach is such sheer bullshit to me... They are entering into competition in a dishonest manner. That itself is an affront. Even worse are those who steal intellectual properties knowingly. They are mocking creativity and trampling all over someone else's sweat and hard work, for such casually minimal gains. Its like such flagrant and excessive dishonesty, in such a completely hideous place. How can you take someone else's creative process and claim it as your own? what kind of inhuman monster can do that? Easy answer is someone who has NO creative process of thier own. Someone who will never know what it is like to make something. Someone who must steal, because thier efforts(whatever few there were) to create soemthing yielded only failure or consternation. I honestly fidn these people dispicable. Its the casual easy choices that perhaps defien you best.
Yea its compeltely easy to just slap your name on someone else's 'unprotected' work and grab all the kudos you can. Now, im not a religious man to say the least, but its fair to say, if there is indeed a highway to hell, it is paved in large measure by such easy choices as that.
