.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

I have been playing MOHAA for about a year and a half and am in a Clan that has about 30 members. We've all been losing interest in MOHAA because it seems that there just isn't any interest left in just playing the same old standard maps. Occassionally I'd find a custom map here and there for our Clan to try out, but after a couple of days the interest would start to fade. I saw this map and thought I'd give it a look. I'm glad I did, the map is great, big enough that you can still try and find a good sniping spot but also not so big that your running around for 10 minutes looking for someone to fill full of holes with an SMG. The new weapons kick ass! I put a link on our clans message board to download the map and so far everyone has the same sentiments that I do. This will definitely give our clan a kick in the butt and get our members active again. We plan on putting it on our server rotation with a couple other custom maps and taking out all the standard maps altogether. I think for the most part everyone has been waiting for the Pacific Theater to be released but now I hope this map and the new weapons will increase everyone's enthusiasm! GREAT MAP and Weapons mod!!! I downloaded it yesterday and went into a server that had it in their rotation and of course as soon as I got in there some terd was landsharking. Also, anyone have a problem with their guns appearing not textured, my weapons were all yellow??? I have a good video card so I don't think that could be the problem but I could be wrong. I have a 128mb Radeon 8500LE. Thanks.

Yeah i liked it alot too... especialy the Model 23 pistol...

lots of things wrong with the weapons though... PSG1 sniper is a semi auto weapon with a 20 round clip and should be using different reload anims... not not sniper reload anims considering the weapon has a clip

M16 Assault Rifle is 30 round clip, small scope optional very short range scope... and should have a slightly faster fire rate... The model is a M4 but if you insist on calling it a "M16 Tactical"...

MP7 AND MP5 DO NOT HAVE SCOPES some other small things wrong...

"M14 Tactical" ...wtf?? ...nothing to say of this weapon...

BOTH grenade names are incorrect... i beleive the weapon that replaces the potatoe masher is a HE Grenade... (shorter than Saying High Explosives...) and should only be called an "HE" for the fact it is not a fragmentation grenade.

M67 Fragmentation Grenade ... umm its nice.. a little too bright you think? and proper name would be "M67" nothing more

Explosions for the grenade is kinda cheesey.. it looks like the ground has just burst into flames for like .5 seconds

Sounds... they must have been chosen for how cool they are.. obviously not real.

Excessive use of scopes on weapons that really shouldnt have one or weapons that have a small scope (such as M16 and the HK smg that replaces the Stg44 and the mp5/mp7 and there is zoom on weapons that shouldnt have)...

Scope texture on the weapons arent aligned properly... and are kinda bland... the original scope texture (when not in zoom) has animation to it... when you move it about the light/darkness of it changes but on these they look like flat images.

i still like the mod and its very nice.. i still using it for playing mohaa

Thanks for all the feedback and thoughts about the mod. The next one is debuting at the end of this month and will be set at a fictional airport terminal and tarmac. There is also a large Tower and animated airliners. Terrorist Obj and Team Death Match will offer a split version of the mod. The weapons in the previous version will most likely be carried over.
Terrorist Obj. to board the Airliner and set the bomb. I might add another of Climb the radio tower and set and addition bomb.

BTW anyone who has had weapon problems had one of these two conflicts.
1. The mod is not for Spearhead and they are trying to view it in Spearhead or with Spreahead installed.
2. The didn't have the mod but was on someone elses server who had the mod. You must have the mod to view the weapons.
