Yeah. They kinda take a toll on the fps if your card sucks so I limited it to one... big one scale 2.5

Well I made a singleplayer mission out of the skins fla@krider, uranus, and chacho made using Small Sumo's tikis and my programming. I came up with a good set of objectives Map contains firing Neb cannons, winter fx patroling sentries, multiple spotlights with mgs in the square, and best of all 2-3 Russians backing you up one being Vassili bot 1.1. (I say 2-3 because anyone that knows howto open and .scr can follow the instructions and delete the // to let the other friendly standing there follow.)

I did spawn triggers for enemies this time.

does the snow one u just released contain bots? and why not follow jv's snowcontest script, but spawning little snowflakes with a script? it would certainly save fps

Just shut the fx off if the snow is botherin you. Besides i had multiple requests to make it hard to see with thick falling snow. And thats single player, Sumo is doing the MP bot one.

i also have a suggestion umm i was thinking that it would be much more realistic and cool if there were dead bodies for the map like they did for dead bodies on omaha, but i was thinking that some could be frozen like in enemy at the gates! if you could do this that would be great if you cant thats fine! :D

Its done just have to upload it.
I decresed the farplane in the script to help the fps. I get 90-97 when i start with all settings on high and range 45-90 the rest of the map. It runs great on the lowest i was getting 90s to well over 150. And my card isn't that great.

I took slyks and toms suggestion of spawning ai in so all ai are spawned by triggers except a few sentry parols.

I do however stress if your card is integrated or run a p2 its not gonna like the snow falling so shut it off in options. Its severly thick in someplaces because people wanted it that way and so did I.

Other than that its a blast I love it. I have played it well over a 100 times at the end here so I tested it well. A few things here and there but noithing that ruins the map in any way shape or form.

And psst.... I didnt put script origins in for the objectives. Youll just have to use the load screen map and the Obj clues to figure them out.

Misson I: Locate a weapon and Find Vassili

The first part has you drifting along on a ferry boat headed into the battle of Stalingrad on the banks of the Volga river Oct 1942. You have no weapon will not get one until one of your comrads gets killed and you pick up their rifle. The Germans grossly outnumber the Russians. The Obj is simple but it's simplicity is shadowed by the sheer difficulty of penetrating the German lines in the square.

Mission II: Destroy 2 German Weapon Caches
Locate Maj. Koenig and kill him

This one can be a rough ride. No compass readings means a lot of running around. And when running around in this level you better keep and eye out. But thats what Vassili is for. That's of course if you don't get him killed before he could really be of some use to you.

Production of the Stalingrad Mod is close to the end. Small Sumo is still working very hard on makin one hell of a bot map of the original Stalingrad_final with a ton of extras and great scenes.

It really depends. Small Sumo still has work to do and so do I so hard tellin. Im pushing for good frames so a lot of work has been done. Most of the scripted exploders took days and most fire off right when you hall ass up the hill in the first mission and is an awesome way to start it off. The dramatic music fits perfect with teh river boat scene and maybe sumo and I can figure out that friggin mg firing stuka in time for both maps.

I'm looking at Sat. of this week or Mon. of the next.

Thats right guys if you want candy it takes time to get it all done correctly, you can get stuck on one special effect for a whole day, bdbodger has been 3 days on the firing stuka, I took all day yesterday just setting up some ai, whereas building the level can be done in one or two days. The candy is what takes time.

Lill' question about the MP Stalingrad Snow version 2:

Love them Opel truck Teleports, and I've just located the 'secret' teleport - in midair - under the beam wich sticks out the building (right, from the beach)

You'll have to run along the beam and jump ! halfway in your fall you get teleported to the top of the building with the spotlight...

Now I know there should at least one more 'secret' teleport wich should transport you to the tower at the right side of the map (again: from the beach) there's a small room in the top of the tower with a sniperrifle and a healthpack standing by...

Has anyone found that teleport yet ?

Also there's talk on the CSK forum about 'invisible traps' ? found none sofar...
