You don't like the dot in the middle, I thought it would help. So your saying the dot doesn't help?

That would be cool but infrared is a bit beyond my ability. If you know how maybe you could tell me how?

I don't know how to do it, I suprised it hasn't been done before. If it has been done in another game maybe someone can pick it apart and implament it into MOH.

Can you imagin 20 people on a night map running around w/night vision googles.

Anyway, as far as the scopes I think you should eliminate the little circle in the middle. Or make it kinda transparent.

Ok, I will make the circle in the middle transparent.

well for infrared u could make the entire scope have a greyish layer on it, which is semitransparent if u have it on the transparent layer. it would kinda give it that effect.

Thats true but it won't be real infrared, as you still couldn't see behind stuff... not a bad idea though. or you could do the color version, or even nightvision googles the green kind. There you could just put an overlay over your view and filter everything but the greens, though I doubt you could make the screen brighter, but if you implemented it into a map, just make the map brighter, that'd be neat! :D

Now that you mention that... Actually, the germans developed an experimental infrared scope to be attached on several weapon systems during the finals years of WWII... It was called "Vampyr" and had an electro-optical, black and white screen where the termal proyection was presented...

I would give you the link for my historical page... But it's in spanish, so it wouldn't come in any help, I guess... Here's a little pic I have there, anyways... (It's the lower picture, by the way... If it doesn't open here, copy and paste the url on a new page...)

I guess, maybe, you could visit http://world.guns.ru for more data about it...[/url]

Well, that scout mod has some nice effects with it, perhaps somehow rig it up so that the player is bright (not behind walls, mind you) and only works in the scope, if that is at all possible :P .
