well,if the us had remained uninvolved we prolly would have said nothing .but since the us always seems to be on israels side .defending it and its position when its clearly wrong .and at most they would just say they dont aprove of that !!! .israel has been occupying palestinians lands and killing both civilains and so called "terrorists" which are fighting for thier freedom .thier ways might not be always the right ones but i and most of the arabs do consider them as freedom fighters .all those missiles ,tank shells and rounds fired at palestinians are all in agression since the all happened on palastinian grounds !! yet ,the palastinians are the only ones viewed as terrorists !!! and the us seems to be indorcing that as well .not talking to arafat (an elected official) is imho the biggest mistake .the us is deeply involved in this conflict ,yet it doesnt seem to want to put a REAL end to the problem

every year the us sends about 2 million dollars (i think) to egypt after the 1st camp david ,and i think 1 million for jordan .quite a number of ppl are grateful for this generousity (including me) but giving us money with one hand and choking us with the other isnt quite a "friendly" action !!
israel gets 5 million i think ,and modern us weapons and technology .which is used to kill and raid palestinian lands ,it seems like the us is funding and supporting the war against palestinians .the only missing thing is us soldiers and it would be an official war .u might say that the us doesnt have any hand in how that country handles the money .but if imho the us sees that this money and weapons are used for the wrong reasons ,it should stop it or at least warn of stopping it !!

i'm personally convinced there were no wmd's anywhere in the Middle East. if there was, even if they did use them on another country, guess what would happen to them? they'd get pounded by that country and all it's allies

well,there was and i also do think there is .i dont know if this was from watching to much foriegn news or what .but i am sure there was in iraq ,since it was used there .and to make things clearer ,those weapons then were used against rebels fighting in northern and southern iraq .they might have used it also against civilains (which is wrong) but every war has its attrocities !! at that time ,those weapons were supposed to be an integral part of any country's arsenal (they seemed to be more effective )

also,even if they were used in the 10 year "iran-iraq" war .i dont think allies (if there was any for iran at that time) would have jumped to the aid !!

. remember Germany? how they messed with taking over Europe? how just about every big name in war came to blow their heads off? Russia, America, Britain, France, even the North Afrikans had to fight them off.

most of those countries ur mentioning were f%#ked up by germany .france and most of northern africa and a great chunk of the USSR was already occupied .and russia(USSR) and britain were on the losing side .personaly i think the nazi's then over-estimated thier power and thought they should attack america as well (by attacking a us ship i think) .they also did a few fatal mistakes through out the war (like involving the us,and rushing in africa and USSR) which turned the tides of the war .imho i think the nazi's invasion was one of the smartest and most succesful military actions ever attempted ,ofcourse i dont condone the killing of all the innocent ppl who died ,i was just saying in strategy terms it was one of the best wars.if i was hitler id prolly be having my tanks rolling on the moon by now (i just love RTS games) .but prolly alot of those innocent ppl would have lived

the Crusades, the Children's Crusade, trying to force two religions to cooperate or help each other is like tying to get a mac file onto pc. it ain't gonna happen right off without some modifications

lol .well,there is a rare minority who still are furious with the crusades (which are mostly extremists ,but then again tell me that thier isnt christians who hate our guts )
both religions have the same god in common ,so i dont think its that hard if we try and put our minds to it .instead of one religion putting thier (wrong) mind to it .
alot of the countries conquered by the the earliest islamic country were christian countries ,yet muslims and christians have lived for so long in perfect harmony (until the crusades) .and until today christians and muslims do live in harmony (here in egypt) as long as we respect each other

who told u that? like any other religion .islam did try to spread itself to all the countries around it and enlighten ppl (like christianity)
radicals are radicals no matter where .christians have radicals and so do all other religions who believe that thier religion is the only true one while all the others are hipocrates and mad people that should die (no,thats not my opinion) .and usually to justify thier acts ,they would say god told them to do this and that .
lets go back in history ,greeks had gods who told them to do this and that !!! then romans came with the same view ,just different names of gods (so did egypt ,iraq (babylon then) and china )

1. did anyone but me know that the original bible is now lost? the Church of England was the second power behind the throne and kept the people in check for the king, oringinally there was no hell in the bible, when the pope's got their hands on it, they onvented it and began threatening the populace that unless they followed the church's readings to the letter they'd be sent to hell.

2. every alternate king about the religion of a certain country (can't remember whether it was France or England) would change, and the bibles burned in the process, only a few survived all this and had to be remade, more lost in translation stuff. it isn't guaranteed to be exactly the same as the church's version that was modified from the original that wasn't even translated right. (it's hard to translate something you read backwards)

But in either case there were many scripts that survived, helped mainly by zealous people in hiding (i think)...

well,thats why islam was sent to us by god .now this is in the quran (our holy book) ,and its not my opinion .since the jews lost thier "scripts" ,christianity was sent to earth as to enlighten ppl but the bible was "tampered" with so islam was sent instead . consider it the latest version of "gods religion"

I do disagree with this cause the palestine-Israel situation is a battle going on and on over decades which doesnt compare at all. However my opinion on Israel is probably different than most of my country. They do need support (but not from ME!!) otherwise they would be squeezed out of the continent, if not killed off. But when they do wrong things with the support is exactly what I was speaking of earlier.

Hey M&M, I do like your take on Christianity. I feel the same way.
They got together in the 15th century and assembled thier version of the bible. Left stuff out and added things. Which in my mind makes it a man made book. Plus theres conflicting verses all through it.
Tell a christian that it says in the bible that women should have thier heads covered while in the public or church and they will say " O thats the old testament".LOL
