yeah, weird looking color thing... hmmm... was fined until i packed the pk3, must have got one of
Wacko's textures in there
the origin thing was just for my benefit for the radar, should of removed that line for script release
don't know why it won't load in AA though, hmmm... worked fine on mine
yeah it is the sky texture... but why it's doing that i don't know
got to get back to work now, i'll be online a lot later

hey,
Jack! U must not believe all he's saying. My textures would be working if
nuggets put them into his pk3

I just can say, my map was fine until I got HIS new pk3 with HIS sky texture (probably a scripted X-ray experiment

). I even made that yellow sky texture work but this working shader probably got lost after I had sent it.

And: u could/should change the skytexture to allgrey or such because for the sea to fade out I think anything else won't work...
Nuggets, what about that elevators? the doors are blinking red and I haven't found a way to make them move once I'm inside...

lol, yeah, oops about the custom sky texture, i appreciate you getting that one working, but that's possibly not going 2 b used

but may still be
in the env folder once the map is made the .jpg's will be edited to match up with the world
as for the elevators, still looking at ui, it's gotta be possible... i think

though not very likely the angle i'm looking from, if not i'll get a sprite to appear onscreen with new bound keys
yeah, the blinking red, that'll soon be changed, it was just a case of having a texture in there 1st of all

, new texture made and will be replacing it soon

I have been away for a few days, out at sea fishing with my dad, beautiful weather.
I am gonna start on the building opposite the hotel, is that ok ?
No one else is working on that are they ?

having major computer problems at the moment, i'll send you an up-to-date .map if i'm able, if not, hopefulyy
Wacko will read this and send you it

along with needed textures etc...
the building opposite the hotel has changed totally, and the whole map has moved so for now, i'll get the new one to ya

As there is 32?C said to be at ur place, I can just say: Open ur windows and your PC-case and let some cool air blow in with a fan. This is probably just a heat problem! And: It'll become colder (Thursday Rain, Friday 20?C)

What u could do: Standing in front of the hotel, the building to the right, connected to the gate. I had to redo the roof of the one to the left and u could also hollow this one and put some flats and a staircase in it!? What do u think?!

Thanks Wacko for giving me the link, nuggets I got your map too, I guess I should continue working on wacko's copy as I got his more recently, they both looked identical from what I could see.
All the descriptions of what to work on, left right, down the road a bit, its all greek to me, I grabbed a screenshot so you can tell me if this is the wrong building im about to start working on,
that one yeah wacko ?
While I was working on the bar I started on other buildings in the octagon, I know your doing the one right next door to the bar nuggets, all I did was texture the outside of that building and I started the interior of the ones next to that, you can see in the screenie,
alright if I carry on with them as well as the one wacko wants me to do ?
Anyway, great work, its looking really really good

Hi Jack!
Thanks for answering! The one building with the balcony and glass doors (wrong texture used though) is the one I asked u to hollow! I have to finish the courtyard behind it, so please don't change the dimensions of this building.
I'd be glad to get from u the pieces u've done so far, could u send them to me?
Have u already started the other building connected to the gate (to the right)? In the screeny, it looked rather untouched...

I have been working on the correct building, but I made it a bit deeper, I moved the back of the building a bit into your courtyard, I did this before I read your last post, shall I post what I got so far, so you can see what I did ?

Wacko ur recently added parts, don't post the link on here, it'll ruin the surprise
still waiting on the new map myself
written the script for the second elevator, just need the targetnames
ocean looks ace... but one question... is it rough enough to have waves and ocean spray?
as soon as i get the new map i'll add the bits into it that i need to (script objects) and send it back out
working on shutters now, and then going 2 make a new weather.scr
right screenshots... hmmm... easiest way to do this...

1stly we need more lights in the cathedral, for a building that sexy some of the doors fade into the darkness
ermmm... what else... DAMN IT can't remember

I need the latest .map from either of you two, I saw wacko has adapted my last building, can you send me your map with that adapted building in wacko,
Nuggets I started messing around with the grafitti, Wacko I will make a Def Wildstyle Burner for you too
