ok, even if your facts are right, your interpretation of English is way off. First u accuse me of thinking USA "un-important", which hell i never have, quite the contrary, and now u accusse me of defending Chanberlain. Which I haven't either. I was merely stating facts about his speach and actions. I happen to agree with you about Chamberlain. But I never defended him. I would like to ask where you got the idea about me thinking both those things from?strafer wrote:And another thing, you are defending Chamberlain...no one wanted him in power because he did not act!

This will probobly be my last post on here because this isn't going to go anywhere.
First of all, I find it ironic that you try to get me that I don't know anything about WW2 when everything I have said about it is factual and I researched EVERY bit of what I said in an extremely accurate and unbiased book.
I'm not saying the war is right, but...
Also this
I absolutely agree with you that the war is wrong, but we can't pull out now. We are too deep into it to where we have to finish it. I'll admit that I was with the war when I heard that Iraq had nuclear weapons, but once I heard that they didn't I thought...what was the point? So I don't like the fact that we went to war, but it's too late to pull out now. But I still support America's troops because of the fact that one of the soldier's time may be up at any time.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Britain helping us for a while in the war (I mean really, correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not sure).m4rine wrote:

That can perfectly be translated for the US not being important. If you say it makes it worse anyway...then you might as well say that it is unimportant.m4rine wrote: USA only makes our world worse anyway.

Oh, one more thing, this isn't an exact quote (this is off of memory, but I know it is true) a quote from Chamberlain:
They drop bombs and we drop leafletts.
They dropped billlions of sheets of paper on Germany to speak against the Nazis. They were flying OVER Germany and dropping paper...
Please tell me that is not weird.

lol m4rine, you have a long history of being pretty decidedly anti-American. if i were any less lazy i'd hit up the number of topics you've posted to that are anti-USA. of course, this sort of thing usually generates into anti-England as well. your country is not perfect. neither is mine. everyone makes mistakes. yes yes of course USA is a blight to the lands, i mean, who cares if we contributed tens of thousands of soldier to WW2? why worry about the foreign aid policies we have that rop food to poorer countries. bah, it was no hlp to East Germany when we supply dropped food all over there and continued their existance. why, i'll bet nobody would care if the Land of the Free was never created, that computers were never invented, that nobody thought up cars. i mean, why bother thinking about America when all they are are warmongering fools?
give me a break m4rine. your points of anti-US are invalid. we've made mistakes. so has England. end of story.

old argument lizardkid. i havbe dropped half that now, simply i dont like USA's policies, and i don't like many of UK's policies. I am currently trying to figure oput why i think USA un-important apparently.
not really. just because i don't like a countrie's policies (NOT it's people), doesn't mean i deem it un-important. like, if i said i didnt like the Iraq war, would that make it unimportant to me? quite the contrary. That can perfectly be translated for the US not being important. If you say it makes it worse anyway...then you might as well say that it is unimportant.

You saying that the US makes the world worse anyway is just like saying that it if the US wasn't here, then the world would be better. Therefore, you are saying it is unimportant. Now do you see the connection? Or am I going to have to go more in depth of what the connection?m4rine wrote:USA only makes our world worse anyway.
Now I thought I was the only one that thought things like that, not that I wanted to build a vegas, I just dont see why even one coalition soldier should die. I wouldnt mind if they raised both places to the ground from the comfort of a couple armchairs in NORAD.hogleg wrote:errr....We should have nuked iraq and aphganistan flat, give it 2 years for the radiation to disapate and go in and create a new Las Vegas!

Bomber Harris is the style I would use in this war. These are maybe not his exact words but pretty close to what he said when he was criticised for Dredsen etc...
" All the cities in Germany are not worth the life of one British Grenadier ".
Now I happen to really like Germans, the Nazi's are nothing to do with the modern population of Germany. Saying that, I often wonder if England would be a better place if we had lost the war, all I see around me now is decay. Before anyone says it, no I am not happy about the holocaust. My country is now pretty much 3rd world, old ladies getting mugged, old war heroes unable to leave their houses for fear of being mugged, makes me nauseous. Why did they even bother fighting ?
As for Germany running all over Poland, I seem to remember that the Russians invaded from the east at the same time and they both carved up the booty between themselves.
BA$7ards !!!
PS. I just downloaded a new browser, I really like it, called Firefox, apparantly meant to be a little more secure than IE.... http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

i get it too strafer. but it took some time.
but i think it was more twisting words than him actually saying it.
well, no country is perfect Jack, and England is more a 2nd-world country, i mean, look on the bright side! England has the highest exchange rate in the world! you can go anywhere and be a king basically!
