ok ill help you out.
local.player.scale = .5
local.player setsize ( -16 -16 0 ) ( 16 16 48 ) //Set the bounding box to half height
that makes it so you can shoot midgits. How do you make it so you can shoot giants?

Well, a scale of 0.5 won't make the player much smaller, as the standard scale is 0.52. ;) A player of half the size would be:

Code: Select all

local.player.scale = 0.26
local.player setsize ( -8 -8 0 ) ( 8 8 48 )
Giant (2x larger):

Code: Select all

local.player.scale = 1.04
local.player setsize ( -32 -32 0 ) ( 32 32 192 )
That should do.

no, isnt .52 the scale of the model that is specified in the TIKI? so that means 1.00 is the .52?

The TIKI commands are actually the same as the script commands. So - the player's (as well as all other models') default scale is 0.52.

Is it? I haven't ever noticed it. :P Uh well, I might be wrong. :D

scale 1 in Rad isnt the same as a TIKI scale. TIKI scale deals with model scale, Rad scale deals with multiplying the TIKI scale.

Are you certain of that?

yes, it is true, thats why I cant figure out what the scale should be for a giant.

this is the voice of experience, not a documentation.
