Having trouble setting up a server

Post by Golden-Hammer »

Okay, I already verified everything with my firewall, now my server cannot be found online. Now I need to change my port number... How do I do that? If that isn't the case, how do I get my server to be found online?

If anyone wants to help, please know what your doing, I don't have time to be messing around with things that don't help me.

Try to open the port 12203 or 12204, maybe it's the program you are using to find the server, you could try to open the port of the program.

Gamespy acrade needs this to work correctly:

6667 (IRC)
3783 (Voice Chat Port)
27900 (Master Server UDP Heartbeat)
28900 (Master Server List Request)
29900 (GP Connection Manager)
29901 (GP Search Manager)
13139 (Custom UDP Pings)
6515 (Dplay UDP)
6500 (Query Port)

I dunno what you are using

You have to go inside your router, you can do this to write the router's IP in your internet explore, for exaple 10.0.0.2
It would ask for a username and password (see your router's manual)
Then you have to search for something like "virtual server" or "open ports" or whatever.

no, because not all firewalls and routers are even remotely alike. it's really simple once you do it once. ;)
