is it possible to zip a global file up as when i do it the global file doesnt work anymore. Our server only takes zip files!

I know how to make a pk3 file that isnt the problem the problem is when you make it into a pk3 file it doesnt work anymore within the pk3 file there is a folder caller global the the localization .txt file in there.

In your case you want the pk3 to overwrite an original file in another pk3. To give your pk3 priority, rename it to something along the line of 'zzz_somename.pk3'.
