If you are hosted by gamesp do yuo have to swear to never post up downloads anywhere else or theyll cut the webspace? It seems every1 that has a gamespy host is using (i HATE HATE HATE Fp) Fileplanet to make their links! It makes me mad 'cause fileplanet hates me and wont let me DL stuff...

Yes, it is part of the deal to host all downloads on fileplanet. However, there is no ban against using additional download sources. Not from what I remember anyway.

i like Fileplanet, i'm no subscriber but they have good servers and gamespy has a lot of servers it hosts.

Well it some kinda monopoly ifyou ask me.. i cant download anything from anywhere that has to do with gamespy! It sucks... it just leads me to a screen saying "you need t o subscribe on a free membership! blah blah" even when i log in using the client.... when i hit the log in with your existingID button it leads me to a subscribe to foundersclub crap thing and grrrrr..... i just want to wring gamespy's neck....

eh, if i cant use fileplanet i look for the file on filefront or somewhere else

it's really easy, if you're registered anywhere on Gamespy's servers (like Gamespy Arcade or one of the Planets) you can use that account.

i AM a registered member... ITs (if you idnt kow) Master-Of-Fungus-Foo-D.... i log in using the little console thing with the desktop shortcut and i got to fileplanet, Action-FPS-MOHAA series-AA-maps-somemap i hit the download button and it says 'dont have a gmaespy ID yer? Or choose tol og in with your existing id.. when i hit the latter it takes me to "PLease sign up for a basic membership or use get founders pass" rgrrrrr
