Tip for Scripters::Editing Stocks

Ive been messing around lately with the stock maps.... makin mods, exploding beef, that sorta thing, and ive found something out... When you dit the script, youre not editing the one in the pk3... youre editing the one that the game copies into the script's maps' bsp's folder (wherever the script to the pk3'd map is)
just a tip, dont know if you all knew that already...

thats the reason why some people cant mod for BT... they havnt created a maps/dm folder :wink:

anything custom you add on via anew pk3 overrides what's in the pak0-6s. thus Reverand and Missionary don't allow you to have custom pk3s.

i think he is trying to say use folders..this meathod dont work in BT and SH so..
