Hi, I been at this site http://dogbreath.nzgc.net.nz/page7.htm it says this:

Give the map a sun by deselecting everything (esc) and hit N, put in this Key: suncolor Value: 45 45 30 Then Key: sundirection Value: -45 45 0

And I look at the screenshot at that site, It has worldspawn at the bottom, I dont have that.

In the map, I can't work out how to light it up, It's really glitchy in the room i've made with lights,

At the moment the only spawn is in the room with no doors to get out, But when I spawn, I cant see in the room, Umm here' a screenshot of what it looks like when i spawn:

I cant work out what the problem is :?

Can anyone please help?

uncaulk the walls.

put entdefs.pk3 in main.

caulk is an invisible texture, you only texture the outside of your walls where players can't see with caulk.

entdefs is needed for functions like doors and worldspawn.

That tutorial is forgetting something, it should say:
-Give the map a sun by deselecting everything (esc), then select a worldbrush (e.g. a skybrush, a wall or anything structural) and hit N,...

Remember that sunlight will only work when there are visible sky parts in the map. For some basic (low) ambient light in closed/covered rooms you will also need to use the following key in the worldspawn:
key: ambientlight
value: 11 11 9 (example)

---
If you have gaps in the room that can 'see' into the void it creates a 'hall of mirrors'. You can close them off with skybrushes. But if you cannot see in the room at all then perhaps you should check the spawnpoint, it could be just outside the room or sticking into a wall(?)
