SOLID is a new anti-cheat program that was created to help the MoH:AA community with improved stability and functionality over existing anti-cheats. Free of charge, the structure of the program includes a 24/7 Server Setup, Match Administration Setup, and an auto-kicking feature; allowing it to be used for general matches and to run it on your public server 24/7. The SOLID crew would like to hear your thoughts on features that you would like to see that may or may not be present in existing anti-cheat programs. SOLID's goal is to ensure people are playing ?stock? or ?out-of-the-box? configuration. Any pk3 files, opengl, or anything that didn?t come with the installation will be detected. Additionally, certain files can be granted 'immunity' on the server. These files are instantly made available to anyone joining the server. This was created to facilitate an ease of distribution for custom maps on servers who run them. Included in this feature will be the ability to 'sync' all players in a match. So for instance, if a custom scope is decidedly allowed by both clans, players can easily download it through SOLID from the host without having to go hunt it down on a website, or distribute it one by one over AIM or other IM services.

Current features:
1. News SOLID Related news
2. Chat for communication, generally used for match purpose (coordination of clans before a match)
3. Player Verification displays a progress report on player verification.
4. 24/7 public setup Sets up your server for 24/7 SOLID supervision. 24/7 mode can be set up to require all players to run SOLID.
5. Match Setup for general match purpose
6. Game RCON allows administrators to pass RCON commands without entering the game.
7. Banning and Auto-Kicking based on IP, Name or "In String" (clan tag, foul language)
8. Automatic-Updates
9. Remote Screenshots similar to what's seen in DMW.
10. Game Directory and Process Dumps visible to all players.
11. Remote Administration of the Host through the Client (think of how you admin Teamspeak and you'll have the idea)
12. Player Sync to make sure everyone has the same handicap or advantage.
13. Map Transfer to allow easy joining to servers running custom maps or mods.

SOLID is built on the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 (or later) technology for faster function and improved security. The noticeable differences between SOLID compared to DMW and Reverend is that it runs faster and each client or admin running SOLID never needs to update the program. SOLID will update each client automatically whenever the program is run. This function was built for easier and faster connectivity to the server for matches. With the server side application of SOLID weighing in under a megabyte and the client side weighing in under 700kb, auto-updates take less than thirty seconds on an average cable connection. The client side program can check and get the player verified and into the game in under a minute if there's no update involved, and under two minutes if there's an update. At which point, that player is ready for match-play or general server play in the instance of a 24/7 setup.

The Microsoft .NET Framework is required to be installed on the system in order for SOLID to operate. The .NET Framework only need be installed once, so it never needs to be upgraded with versions of SOLID.

Please visit the SOLID forum here (CLICK ME). Make your voice heard and help us to make sure your thoughts on features are considered. What other features would you like to see? What do you think should be improved on compared to other programs? Any input or information will be greatly appreciated. SOLID will improve the gaming community greatly and we will make it the #1 server administration tool used for MoH:AA.

We want inputs from others that we can implement in this new anticheat, which is what the title mainly saids. Since January, lots of features that Missionary doesn't have is implemented as well. We are not listing certain feature as they are classified

The difference between Missionary is that this program is free for all to use, trying to expand so that it can be further used for other purpose, including both match and 24/7 server sided. This project is made to be client friendly, allowing autoupdates, chats, friendly for those who runs custom maps and clan skins, general modders/mappers, better ban system, and so on that other programs doesn't or lacks in. Allowing faster connection to the server and checking process for each player, we believe that this program can rise to many occasion.

Visit the site at http://solid.ghostforce.net/ and give us your inputs. Thanks

yes, like causing many problems with your MOH:AA Game and your computer.... its a pain in the ass (reverend/missionary).

A few questions that came to thought:

1.) You say that some .pk3's are immune.... How are the .pk3 files scanned to make sure they ARE that .pk3.... whats from stopping someone from simply renaming the .pk3?

2.) Let's say, this anti-cheat is used for a match, walk me through the process of the pregame scanning session and such....

3.) I believe missionary has an option where it deletes non-stock .pk3 (correct me if im wrong!), which isnt good, i dont think.... A nifty idea would be an EASY, quick option that will simply move all the non-stock files into a pre-designated location, this type of option would be very nice for mappers and other modders... hell... everyone. Anything like this?

Personally, I think anticheats are pretty much pointless, worthless, and a waste of time. Because they are still bypassed by the major hackers, and these anticheats only filter out the minor ones who really dont make much of an impact at all.... rendering the whole 20 minute pregame process... useless. Something like a killcam would be all this game needs (COD).. but i doubt thats possible.

This program was developed to give a client friendly approach that requires no hassle, and the program will do everything for you: auto updates, and many other that Reverend/Missionary doesn't have.
1.) You say that some .pk3's are immune.... How are the .pk3 files scanned to make sure they ARE that .pk3.... whats from stopping someone from simply renaming the .pk3?
This thought and other ways to fake the pk3 has been thought out, which I can't give information regarding this This new pk3 checking system has been already gone through some testing, and the process is easy and quick. I can't give a process of how we are doing this, but so far it's working like a charm :D, you will see when a beta comes out (expected in April)
2.) Let's say, this anti-cheat is used for a match, walk me through the process of the pregame scanning session and such....
I can't give a specific walk through as of right now since we have couple idea in thought. This match check will be similar to Reverend, but due to the programming and codes involved, the whole program (when it's done) will be around 2mb or less. You might think this 2mb is too small for an anticheat, but right now we have almost 2/3 of it done, and we have the things mentioned above, plus many other implementation already. So in a quick, the client can be checked and ready to set foot in the server in matter of seconds, and you'll be checked by the server quicker. We have also implemented a section where each player can chat through SOLID, even when they are not connected to the server. where admins can check on players on-the-spot

Adding to this, this program is set to be able to be in a "match" mod or "24/7" mod. Giving it less time to setup for a match.
3.) I believe missionary has an option where it deletes non-stock .pk3 (correct me if im wrong!), which isnt good, i dont think.... A nifty idea would be an EASY, quick option that will simply move all the non-stock files into a pre-designated location, this type of option would be very nice for mappers and other modders... hell... everyone. yes, this program is set foot to be apart from the rest of the anticheats, giving more freedom to the clients and serversided users. If the server doesn't have any custom mods installed, it will ask in the nature of "some files are unnecessary to join this server, would you like to remove them?" with a yes,no,cancel option. This person won't be able to connect to the server, unless the files are removed. I believe Revered removes the files and puts it back after the match is over, which I think Missionary does it as well.
Personally, I think anticheats are pretty much pointless, worthless, and a waste of time. Any programs can be bypassed one day or another. We know our program won't be perfect, but we are sure it will give a friendly approach to enjoying a cheat free environment.

[killcam idea] The killcam in CoD is still rendered by the client who's viewing it. Killcam does nothing to verify whether or not the person who killed you was, for instance, wallhacking. All you see is a pre-recorded path for the camera to follow. It only reveals where the person got you from.

Some little n00bish questions:
1. Please make it easy to integrate to your server, if not running dedicated(I play myself), the scan should be also added securely.
2. It is for SH and BT too?

3. If I run this scan, is there a possibility to know what hack this person is using and then the console or hoster decides to ban or not to ban. It would be bretty cool, when the map ends in the stats menu
"playername" (using wallhack, aimpot etc)
4 Allowing people on the server who don't have it.
5.Very easy to download, no registartion thingy (running 3 different anti-cheat programs on your PC isn't fun.
6. It uses low RAM
7. When does it come out, you say April? could you give me a link then :D
All the best to you.
Can't give you any proffesional advise not in to MOH:AA files.

Maybe MOHPA support too, have heard stories, that PunkBuster doesn't work well???

1. It is
2. It will be, but not at release.
3. Players hacking, for the most part, wont get as far as in-game. You won't have to 'scan' a player, it'll already be done by the time they get to you. The bans are more in place for keeping unsavory people out than anything else. However, should SOLID not find a cheat that you see via a screenshot/etc (which is instantaneously received through SOLID), you can ban for that as well.
4. Already an option
5. Easy to download, install. There will probably be a registration form, but it'll be swift and painless, and will be integrated into the client itself rather than on a seperate site.
6. Yep.
7. Sorry about that... the beta's late. =( We're trying to get everything good to go before we start releasing betas =)

As for supporting PA... that's also planned.

wrong. Reverand deletes your .exe files, deletes anything that you say is fine, if it looks like a cheat then let the admins look at it, and also manages to rename some files AND change your config to default, with no backup made.
