Either you have no sky box; your map is off the grid somewhere; your spawn points are in the middle of a brush or mesh; or all 3.

Thnk i did that but i still get that last error about too many surface edges how would i get that increased? Also when i load the map it says in the console it cannot find the bsp even though i have it in the main\maps\dm folder with all the other map's files wats the deal?

When I compile a map it says that it can't find the map either, but the map loads nevertheless...

If I remember correctly surface edge error means you have custom pk3's in ur main folder. Move them else where.

ok a little more on my map. Pretty much right now its a platfrom inside a block. I have 2 allied starting points and 2 axis. i have a .map file, a .bak file, a builder.bat, a .prt, a .vis and a .bsp. THats it.

When i look at the console now it tells me it cant find player spawned point name "" or that it can't find a .min. or it can't find the .bsp
