Patch caps problem

Hi,

I've got a little patch problem. The picture below shows a very-early-stage ski jumping hill. (:P) This is the area where you gain speed (don't know how to call it in English... ), and it needs to be shaped like that. The one in the picture consists of a few brushes that in the circled place meet the patches. The problem is that I can't figure out how to create "caps" for them, so that the space between them is not see-through... I tried curves->caps->endcap and inverted endcap, but they work for 90 degrees arches only... Any ideas?

P.S. Sorry for the terrible image quality, but I'm trying to be 56k-friendly. ;)

How come you don't make the whole slope out of one patch?

not quit sure what you mean :?

....can you attach the vertices to each other

.... what do yuo mean...
are the patches not solid? maybe theyre only see-thru in radiant.. hit the little 'a' on the toolbar :)

to snap vertices to one-another select vertices from the two patches and hit ctrl-k

@Hogleg: there's a quite long straight piece, I thought it pointless to use patch for that.

@Fungus: no, they don't have the caps, they are solid.

Maybe a picture from another angle will help:

The area in the green rectangle is made of brushes. It's just like how I want it to be. Now look at the patch in the red rectangle - that doesn't look good, eh?

I hope you understand what I mean now?

make another patch... on the side, and bend it so it fits like a cap :P

OR; make a rectangle out of patches, select ALL of it, then bend the vertices of that :)

If you still dont have a clue, i'll send a .map to ya
