Spawning in a MP map without the weapons menu ?

Euh... question... Is it possible to 'skip' the weapon selection menu on a multiplayer map... ie. spawn empty handed, and then having to pick up a weapon which are situated throughout the map ?

Prefferably the menu should be disabled on this specific but custom map ?

Well, not really. However, you can just take all the stuff from the player when he respawns.

BTW, when are we going to get Venice? :)

Thanks Rookie One... so the weapon selection menu can not be disabled but it is possible to take (all) chosen weapons from the player on spawning... ?

Any example script lying around ?

Btw. progress on Venice is slow, main reason is the map script (first time for me) and brushwork is coming down to details only, so work demands some precision there. Atm. I'm swapping stock textures with custom ones (also first time for me on such a scale) Most textures need to be made tile-able, which takes quite some time aswell... All-in-all, I'm still working on the map :D

Btw2. My threadstarting question has nothing to do with my Venice project :roll:

Make a loop that waits until the player spawns and then take his weapons away. You can either take specific weapons:

local.player take models/weapons/m1_garand.tik
local.player take models/weapons/colt45.tik
and so on, or just take all the weapons and ammo away from him:

local.player takeall

This might be doable but not for one map. It would have to be a "global" type mod meaning it would happen with any map.
