Alright, Polish don't look like that...

Say, Rookie One, is Polish difficult to learn if you already speak (quite) some Russian?
I gotta learn another slavic language soon and I'm thinking about choosing Polish...
(Sorry, yeah, I know, this is not really mapping...

)

Is it very different from Russian? (Apart from the writing). Do you speak Russian?

Cyrillic is so different from Gregarian writing, i really doubt if they use a different alphabet that it'd be too similer.

What? I don't really understand what you mean, Lizard... What's Gregarian writing anyway? Anyway, cyrillic isn't that difficult to learn - in fact it's very similar to the Latin alphabet...

I haven't heard of a Georgian alphabet either.
The Polish one is just Latin with our diacratic characters.
I'd say it is quite different, although some words sound really similar (all in all, these languages come from the same familiy). I speak very little Russian, but at least I'm the only person in my class who's able to read Cyryllic.

Maybe he means the old Church Slavic alphabet... Geez, I have to learn that *!!/# now!!!

Now this can really piss you off!!! I don't know where I could ever use that!!!
But the normal Russian's cool

, I like it... At least I understood the first part of the message you posted above

I see. But it's called something like Glagolic? I've been trying to learn that while in Croatia.

However, I failed...
The second part is 'it's much more beautiful'.

Well, there's several old alphabets

There's the first slavic one which looks like some secret message signs (that's the one the monk Constantin Cyrill invented to translate all those Church books stuff).
Then there's been a change to the Glagolitic alphabet: it looks almost like the normal one (which you use today). That's used in old Church Slavics...
Well, russkij jazyk ocen' krasivyj jazyk, po-moemy...
