terrain by targa not working

i try to make LOD by Load from image but at the radiant console it gives me an error

LoadTGA: Only type 2 and 10 targa RGB images supported
Failed to load terrain from image

any help?

Make a terrain of the size you want, then save to image, load that image then fiddle with it; only in black and white, then load terrain from image

Uhm yes it was that i was not using the radiant-made targa but a custom one... but NOW Photoshop 5.0 LE will only save it as a PSD... ( im clicking plain old save) thx mj

Click save as and choose the tga filetype

Do the "make image from terrain" first. Then paste your new image on that one.

And if you have trouble converting image formats, I suggest IrfanView

[Rookie One.pl]

XnView is IMHO better.
