Well, I had a flash of inspiration earlier, and decided to use it as my next project, enter; The Valley
(original name

)
Well, tell me what I'm doing wrong before I start realy going for it

Looks really good, especially the rocks and vegetation

... perhaps the water texture needs some work though

Yeah, I spent about an hour earlier trying to get the water texture to look good, but nothing i tried really worked, so I stuck with boring plain 'solid' water. And yeah lizard, your right... the mesh is playing silly-buggers with the textures! (

) Nevertheless, I think I shall proceed

Awsomo!
Just be sure to test it at some different Gfx settings. Patch meshes can be right little bastards at different settings... but you look like you know hat you are doing

Urm... I want to know if you think i've gone on randomness overload...

Please tell, I can easily load up my back-ups
(please note, this is -fast -fast compile with leak

)

I see MJ's fantasy has broken out again

, I see some very nice job already. A lot of patch meshes, one of mj's favorite stuff I guess. Keep it up! I can't wait untill it's done m8

it's worth to finish this one, and for playing ofcourse

. The only thing I'm afraid for is the FPS when it's done.
Again, it's looking very nice

I like the first three shots but I don't really know what to make of the snow and the sand, seems a bit incohesive. However the first shots immediately made me think of some custom skybox called "The Druid Cove".

An unbelievable piece of art like always

Wow, thanks! As you say pantera, some of the sand and snow is looking a little 'dodgy' at the moment, so I'm gonna give arabia a shuffle

I just wanted to build a map in which you could view a snowman and a sandy plain in one
This map needs some serious work at the moment, its a large map which needs alot of filling, and takes 2 hours to compile with a leak
My next idea is to fill dead ends with teleports - and you guys know my highup map? Probably not, basically its a small map suspended in the middle of nowhere... I'm thinking of using that as a teleportation 'hub'
I didn't lose my mind, the penguin stole it

Errr, hrmm, where are those plants from

?
I'm bored with the boring natural stuff in MOHAA and 'd like to make some new...

The trees are fully MoH (branches_horizontal), the snowytrees are those edited, and the rest are custom

branches_horizontal -lmao- (typical texture name

)
Well, anyway, how can I make plants? I mean, 3d? (Well, alright, if you look at the plants in Moh, they're no really 3d - even those that are s'posed to be

. (Hmm, well, I guess it's still better than in TombRaider 1

)
But, thanks for the help (or advice or whatever) anyway, Mj
