Yeah, I know that immediate kills didn't happen that often (happen? does a kill happen?

Anyway...)
Well, of course it depended (or still depends) where you are and in what conditions... So, I think freezing or esp. bleeding to death happened rather often - I guess that often soldiers couldn't be rescued by buddies during a fight, or maybe afterwards they were just left between the lines...
Okay, it doesn't really shock me to actually see 'em dying, I watched 'bout all the movies from Stalingrad (very good movie!!!) to Private Ryan and BoB and the things in there don't haunt me.
Maybe it's the fact that it is ME who killed the kids in BiA (look at them, they're barely 16!! Some of 'em at least). It's sure only a game, but it makes me think nonetheless...
What I was saying about them not dying immediately is that it's not very realistic... Okay, it's how it's shown in, well, any Hollywood movie 'bout WW2 (most WW2 movies, in fact). The baddies die fast without much screaming while your own mostly die and scream in agony... Makes you have much more bad feelings about them that about the other kinda clean deaths, know what I mean?
