Yeah just make a new text file in the same folder as your map's bsp and name it 'mymapname.scr'. :)

Use notepad for typing scripts...
And, check as many other scripts (from the game) as possible - it'll help you to see how things are organized and so on...
It's very hard at the beginning, but after some practice, you'll get it...
About the green boxes: Just copy what's written in there, and copy it to your script (so, you have to make a new one on your own...)
Hope that helps...

Never change a game .pk3 ever!! extract the file you want to change and put it in the same directory outside the pk3's . For example if you want to change mohdm1.scr that is in the maps/dm directory then in C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\MOHAA\main make a maps directory and inside of that put a dm directory and extract that .scr file into there . In Mohaa files on the hard drive overwrite the same file inside of a pk3 . When you want to send your mod to some one else you maka a pk3 file with something like pakscape and name it so that it starts with a letter after p so that it will also overwrite the one that is in pak5.pk3 . A good way to do that is to put user_ in front of the pk3's name like user_mypak.pk3 . You have to do that to keep the original game file intact so you can change mods any time you want and still be able to go back if you get tired of the mod or need to remove your mod to use one you downloaded for example . The scripts directory in pak0.pk3 is actually a directory for storeing shaders , they are files that set the properties of textures . Look in pak5.pk3 maps directory for most of the game scripts and in pak0.pk3 global directory for scripts used by the game scripts .
