.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

Well i've always wanted to know beforehand (without having to open IE to go to a clan/server's page) to know the ping and player number in it, GS and all those things do it, but i'd rather have a small program (even cmd prompt) that just connects to the server, asks it for info, and spits it at me without needing to open any game or bigscale program.

all i know is basic ANSI C and J++ so unless it's possible in those can anyone point me to a program that just asks for port/ip and tells me playerlist and all that?

if it's possible for me to program with interpediate coding skills then could you tell me how to connect and query and all that?
