I tried the first BF series, thought the idea was cool but the tech, gameplay, and looks werent there...
This one totally alleviates all the first's shortcomings, it's going to be my next MOH
It looks as good as HL2, plays with all the FPS gaming of MOH, has the tactics of CSS and C&C combined (try to make sense of that) and it's got driving and flight sim elements as well, what game could be better? *hgs BF2*
So what do you all think of it so far?

No, I've got wincrap xp home. Version 5.1.2600, to be exact. Both DX & OGL are supported.
You have never tried Linux, have you? If you have, you would see it's better by heaps and leaps.

Yes the menu is horrible

looks good but terribly slow
Really wonder why none of their 35 programmers could make a decent menu

i dont mind it myself... i think it's just as good as any menu...
But it is kinda annoying when you accidentally hit Esc to get rid of a window, but i've learning not to. i see a bunch of little kids whining about it so i decided to get over it.

oh i ddint even get to the game yet.
cut away the menu and u got potential but i happen to not want to waste more time describing a waste of time.
it's well cool and a great idea but my god is it boring and buggy and the u still move like a caemra on a skateboard with a wheel missing.
