Help with LOD Terrain

Can I texture every triangle in separated?

No, but you can texture every 512x512 surface in separated. Hold control + shift, select a 512x512 units surface and choose a texture.

Sorry to bring up this old one, but the topic fits perfectly :wink:

Ive managed to select 512 x 512 areas of LOD terrain and apply different texture on those areas. However those areas are black in the game, like there isnt the texture available.

The same problem occurs even i have installed MOH for mapping purposes into totally different location than the original gameplay games. So there is only main folder and no custom textures which could cause the same problem.

Hmm is the texture just black or do you see the missing texture black/white/yellow grid?

Did you try a different texture?

Yep, its like missing texture.

So far tried 2 different snow textures on two different places. Same results.

OK. It works. I managed to test 2 different snow textures that dont work! Applied a grass and it looks ok in the game. Shame...

sounds almost like a .shader problem to me.

What i used were just original MOH snow textures. The ones i used didnt work on terrain...

Yah many stock shaders are not exactly bug-free :( ; it's not usually hard to make your own shader with a working version of some texture though :)

Sure. However, since im really new at mapping, i was like :shock: and :?: and what the :twisted: i did wrong until i found its this "bug". :D
