I find this to be one of the greatest mods for MOH:AA out there! I could spend hours in a map making stuff! What do you guys think of this mod?
Meh, the only bad thing about it is.... the lack of variety of items. It would be nice to have a bunch of different shaped obects.. some long narrow, some short fat, some just big, some blocks, etc... but i guess you cant get to carried away with the stuff, then the server lags...
But...
I invented a new 'mini-game' with this mod that id like to share with you guys who've played this mod... I call it "Gauntlet".
What you do is, find a large open area in a map. (remagen: Allied side), (The Hunt: Main Street, or Graveyard), (crossroads: The entire main street), (Omaha: The whole allied beach, but going west to east)... ok now what you do is...
Make a large gunning tower up in the air on one side of the open area (like the balcony at allied spawn in remagen) and place 2-4 Mg42's up in the air.
Now, on the opposite side of the open area, make a large barrier of boxes for a starting point...
Now, in No man's land (everything in between the gunning tower and the starting spot), add obstacles, small groups of grouped boxes and what not.....
The objective: Allies have to run (unnarmed) all the way through the obstacles and not get shot and killed by the gunner(s). Whoever survives is next gunner. If you die, simpley when u respawn start running again!
---tips----
-it helps to block of side entries and passage ways to maintain fareness and see the boundries of the map...
-keep some open areas for harder play and less jumping.
-Make a box flat on the ground, then create a left that startes at the same height as the box and moves ontop of the box (so they overlap when the lift is down), these make great obstacles if in patches.
This is quite possibley the funnest mini-game ever!
