New Map: Mountain Radar Beta

Hi, I have made a map of a mountain radar installation. It seems to work with both SH and BT,I mainly play SH. there seems to be a culling issue in AA, fogplane looks fine in SH and BT. It's still in beta, but all the terrain, and areas are for the most part how they will stay. My only major goal is to flesh out the base, with radar equipment and such. And maybe round off a few corners. I tried to keep the map as simple as possible, brush-wise, as it is quite large for a Moh map. Please chck them out and post any comments/suggestions, I have already fixed the doors opening the wrong way. thanks in advance for checking out my work.

You should post some screenies, most people including myself won't DL a map without a look see first.

I can't figure out how to get some pics to show up, if I have to have them hosted somewhere else then that won't happen any time soon. each map is only like 75k so, take a chance.Sorry, if i could get some pics up I would. And for any one who does check it out, please be be aware that it is a beta, and most of the errors you may see are already fixed. the texture tearing, in like 2-3 places was actually caused by a "false" caulk texture: empty light grid or something like that. In my newest compile I havent found a texture glitch yet.And using rogue's tool, there are absoloutly no brush errors. Also if someone want's to point out that it is somewhat plain, please remember this is a fairly large map for moh, going by the stocks anyway. No z-fighting,no hints or anything it's all just good structural/detail layout.

get a link to the image and put the where you want it.
People aren't going to bother downloading unless it looks good. i dont download unless it looks superb.

Thanks!
One of my clan members was nice enough to host my files, I didn't want ot bug him to host pics. Please keep in mind it's mostly outside, in the mountains, so a lot of things were kept simple to facilitate it's size, I'll complicate things as it's needed. For now I want to sort out gameplay/strategic and layout issues. It is mainly a obj. map, but I'm sure some tdm would be fun. I also want to make a lib. version. The radar systems are only there for an idea of what's to come, I havent found any satisfactory textures or models.I'll also add a docs obj. to the mix.And I'll eventually make the caves to actually look like caves, but that will be a long and difficult process, for me anyway. Also if anyone likes it enough and would like to maybe work on it let me know. Please no green mappers( at least one working clean map built pls), I'm all the noob I can take.Or if you think I am good enough to work on your projects I would be more than happy to take on a project. I have tones of spare time to commit.I have also made working, but not released Enemy Territory maps.

As you mentioned the first thing I noticed was too many straight edges on the natural formations.
Looks good, I'll give it a run around tonight.
I forgot is it going to be an obj?

Here is the final version, there doesn't seem to be much interest in it, but here it is none the less. Hopefully it will be up on our clan server soon, so you can play it. I'll post that when it happens. I got rid of the docs obj, cause the docs system sucks in moh. Added a V2 obj, added secondary Allied spawn. If you think things are overly simple, it's because I did my best to keep brush counts down to make it run smooth on ALL systems, including those running minimum specs. I did my best to fix everything, but if you find something off, please feel free to let me know about it. I hope everyone enjoys my map, and appreciates how hard it is to make one. It is mainly an objective map, but there is plenty of space for large dm's.Please dl them and enjoy. I have had positve feedback from those who have tried it, mainly my clan mates.

Hmm yeah, not much activity going on lately, not only in this thread but also in the rest of the Release-forum. Since the screenshots are gone and I don't have the game installed, I can't comment on the map right now. As soon as I've installed it again I'd be happy to give you some feedback on the map. I already downloaded the map but can you still put up a few screenshots again? By the way, cheers to finishing your map; starting a map is one thing but I know firsthand how hard it is to actually finish it.
Enhanced for brightness.
