Yep, like Neillio said, SH SDK maps aren;t compatible with regular MOHAA.

So maybe try to port the map over to the regular MOHRad and compile from there? otherwise you're stuck with SH.

the SH SDK and MOHRad are exctly the same tool, per say. the sH SDK compiles explicitly for the coding SH offered, the pure MOHRad simply does it for AA.

If you could figure out MOHRad i guarantee the SDK is no different.

You need to change certain paths in MBuilder for your maps to work correctly in SH, you need to put SH maps in a maps folder in Mainta.

1) MOHAA
2) MOHAA TOOLS
3) MOHAA/MAINTA/MAPS/DM

The compilers are called qmap.exe and mohlight.exe . In your mohaa tools directory there is a copy of them and also in the SDK/tools directory but the ones in the SDK/tools directory are for spearhead maps only ( and maybe breadthrough). Spearhead models will not work in AA . The only difference between the radaint from the SDK and mohaa tools is that the copy of radiant from the SDK can show spearhead models the other one can't . To make a AA map rename mainta to xmainta then start the radiant from the SDK or mohaa tools you will see that you no longer have the addon menu that is because that is from spearhead so now you can make AA maps and not worry about the spearhead stuff . Rename xmainta back to mainta when you want to play spearhead or make a spearhead map . When your map is done if it is for AA you must use the qmap.exe and mohlight.exe from mohaa tools directory not the ones from the SDK/tools directory . If you have mbuilder and are makeing an AA map point the compiler directory to mohaa/tools close it and reopen it , if you are makeing a Spearhead map point the compiler directory to SDK/tools so that your useing the qmap.exe and mohlight.exe for spearhead .

what about for breakthrough? just compile to maintt?

what i did was saved the test map in maintt/maps/dm

i then changed the compiler to (in mbuilder) SDK/tools, and the map path to maintt/maps/dm

i complied the map with no errors, then i went to start the game and while loading the map it crashed back to the desktop but the console was open and it said:

SV_FindIndex: overflow error (max=512) when creating
"sound/items/item_wirecutt

I was going to make SH maps but i had to reinstall everything, forgetting that a buddy of mine was borrowing my SH cd (i was using a cd crack b4) but i do have my BT soo.... yea lol

Too many aliases in your ubersound.scr I think , you must have a custom one . You can put custom sounds in a mysound.scr and put it in the ubersound directory that will work for SH and I guess BT but not mohaa there is a max amount of info for .tik files as well I belive it won't be serverside though .

I have a same kind or error when i try to test my map. I have used orginal Brest textures and i used the SH SDK. I open mbuild and fillin the path's. After that i try to run the map and says:

Mbuild error:

********ERROR********
LoadPortals: Couldn't read: C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA\main\maps\testkamer.prt

Ingame console error is the same what Heald said:

Error reading bsp number its 21 but should be between 19 and 19.

Can enyone give me a little advice how it comes, i cant find a fault what i have made so far..
