radiosity lightint

when I go to compile and launch my new map this is what I get.......Radiosity Lighting
(.59)Seconds
(314.19) seconds
0% complete................it always stays on 0% coplete and will never load!

radiosity is a VERY long process. i dont use it until a final compile.
-bounce 0 in LIGHT
also delete your other double post please

When you run the LIGHT compile, add the option/variable:
-bounce 0
This will prevent radiosity from being calculated.
You can also specify -fast
Also, calculating static shadows for models adds a lot of time, but that is not on by default. A full radiosity render can take days if you map and lighting are complex.

Yes Diego is correct the -bounce 0 in your lighting options will skip the radiosity part, personaly I think radiosity is not worth the time it takes anyway, you see little or no effect for it.
