can i take -

local.origin

and then add to it? - e.g. another object to be lower (z -40)

How can i do that?

u can do it like this,

$your_crazy_thingie.origin = (($some_other_crazy_thingie.origin) + ( 0 0 -40))

Cool thanks, you saved me. Ive set over 100 triggers and i would have had to resize them all to make this work otherwise.
