How much do static entities weigh down on the framerate on a map ?
Would an oak tree have the same "surface properties" as a bush if the bush was scaled up 3-5 times ?, or would the bush olways be less ?
Besides vis_vis leafgroups, how can you increase framerates ? Most of map is detail now, but not all.

It is the number of polygons the player sees that affect the frame rate, so the scale of a model really doesn't matter. You may want to limit the number of models in the map. I have seen people put over 300 models in a map and then wonder why it runs so bad!

Detail brushes only help your map compile faster, they wont help the FPS much. In fact, it is better that some brushes are not detail--if they block the players view.
