obstinate leak...

Post by neillomax »

Somehow I have a leak. The redline is above and parallel to the skybox, its only about "20" feet long. I replaced the roof section and checked again...still there. did this a couple of times, and yes I recompiled after each. Stuck...any ideas ?

Not sure I get you... Are you saying that the red line is very short and located totally outside the skybox?

OK:
- Do you have any filters active in Radiant? ( if not it should say <None> in the title bar at the top of the radiant window ).
- Do you get any error messages while compiling? If so, what do they say?

OK. I had a skybox brush extended from one end of my map to the other.
I just got done "boxing" out the part that was around the church steeple, as they had done in mohdm2. Now the line doesn't show up anymore. Is it possible to "overstretch" a brush? , or to get a skybox brush so close to a building that it would cause a leak ? From my perspective it was well far enough away....go figure.............

Should not be a problem with wide skybox brushes, very long regular brushes can vork badly with fog, but never seen any problems with a sky brush.

So I take it you removed the leak?
