Hello can anyone help me with my lod problem i have my lod chunk that is flat (below pic)
but i want it vertical like this (below pic)

I only got this bit vertical because its a normal brush
How do i get this lod to look vertical ?

You can't do that with LOD terrain, you can't rotate it and the vertices got a static x,y position so you can't move them. But you can invert the lod so the texture is upside down.
Use patch mesh to make it vertical, you can rotate it (control + G after rotating), and you can move the vertices.

It can be made verticle. I can't explain it, but I can do it, to an extent. See if you can find Mohaa in a bagel....now corrupted. but theres another link called kimberly tutorials, or something like that. Make another post, ask for kimberly tut's by Deathpool, somebody should be able to let you know how to get to it.
He shows you how to manipulate LOD so you can get something like the effect you are looking for. LOD's a tuff bugger sometimes, bu it is useful..........wow, did I here jeers..........
If you are going for "walls", why not use brushes ?

No, it's something else. You can change the high of the vertices so the lod terrain will look slanting, but you can't move the vertices on the X or Y axes so the vertices will never be above each other. You can only move the vertices of the lod on the Z axis. So that means you won't get a 100% vertical face.

I was trying to create a cliff face but could not get the lod to "go vertical"now im using the primatives its a lot easier and i have made my climbing cliff face in 10 mins! wicked!
