I know I'm a noob
but is the SDK program what I am supposed to use, and if so is there anywhere else I can get it besides FilePlanet, I hate downloading stuff off there...

for what modeling or mapping ? The SDK is for mapping for modeling you need something like milkshape , lightray 3d , 3dmax or one of the other modeling programs .

ne of these programs I can get free without cracking (illegaly getting)

lightray 3d is fairly cheap or you can save your model as a ray file and beg some one with a registered version to export it for you , the free version won't export until you pay for it . Or you can just make a new skin for one of the models already in the game all you need to do that is a graphics program .

I downloaded Milkshape 3d 1.75... ^.^ this stuff looks really hard
