Bash of the Season!

chainspawning fun!!! heres the story line: you defend your base from attackers that come back 2 seconds earlier each time ;), if you fail to succeed, the second-in-command donwstairs will have to assist in defeating the oncoming attackers, but yuoll die anyway as the base will explode...

to play it type in console "map test_chain-bash"

alaso, tis is just a demo! Im making a newer WinterBash map that has more guys attacking, and vehicles (tanks, trucks, planes) that attack as well as guys! And you can go downstairs to the second machine gun in the winter version.. that 1 has a sexy, new, larger map too to fit all of the new guys that are being added (theres a possibility of 40 guys attacking in one wave!) im still finishing it up, so enjoy this 1 for a bit

Actually, I've once been thinking about a similar idea but in multiplayer. Sounds good, going to give this baby a spin. :)

Well, it's quite buggy, but was fun to play. :) 187 kills, 44 waves survived. 8-)

yeah.. the newer version is harder and less buggy... im working on the tanks and trucks now.. then ill work on spawning debugs and all

I suppose there's some serious bug in the script as it makes my system work so slow that FPS drops to 4-6 at higher levels (lvl 60-70 = 0 FPS). And the number of axis soldiers alive is always wrong (I think it's incremented by 1 every round, so in say 12th round after killing all of them it still says 12 are left). After the base explodes and the screen goes black, it fades back in, but the smoke is not gone and it obscures the view (it sometimes does disappear, but it seems pretty random). Also, during the 3rd try I noticed that the axis alive counter was saying -48. :? And how's the AI gunner suposed to work? He started shooting after the base exploded for the first time.

I haven't tried it... I'm not going to bash it or anything...

I just want to say congrats on such a big project... I wouldnt be able to get myself to like something like this but I am sure there are people who would...

so good job :)

ja the smoke, doesnt appear if you turn off volumetric smoke... ill need to change that cvar by script :P... uhm... the counter thingy is fixed in the new one...fps is much better in new one (new sexy map :))
umh the ai gunner was a dumb idea i put in i dont know why :P yah he gets annoynig (he isnt in the new one)

haha, yea this is fun - id like to see the winter one and i want to hop over the barracade and make my way to the end for a bonus win!

nah you arent allowed to go past the wire, but you will be able to hop over the sand bags and jump down to the lower level.. there are doors too

The winter one is included in the pk3. Also, for an unknown reason, there's a flash player exe file in it.

i did not know that :P.. how did a flash get there :S... wtf?.. i think ill fix that :P
