I'm wanting to make a mod that makes smoke effects more like F.E.A.R., where they come out big and stay for a bit, fading enough for you to see opponents but still hindering you. I've gotten them pretty well down, but i'm wondering what these lines in the .tik files do.

Because they seem to have an effect on how the smoke goes, i'm wondering if there's any way for me to adjust the smoke any more than i have already.

If you set high effect details even the stock ones last for quite a long. It takes some 20 seconds for a nade explosion smoke to completely fade away on my comp.
