Ive got just one request, make them work on all levels!

I understand it's difficult, but pleeze give it a try!


Or send your work to EA, and then EA can make it more perfect (bugless etc)

I agree! EA always have games with bugs, and their updates..... oh boy!

All works well, but I think the stairways have to be dubble wide when using bots on a map. Sometimes they just wont get out of your way and you have to go back up/down a stairway to let them by (or kill em). The test map has a caulk wall on the right of the mg42 window outside and the sky is too low to throw granades. Also, We spawned inside a bots head a few times, ha ha.

wont work for me either...game starts to load map, but then it just hangs...

Haha, very nicley done. I played with the bots for the hour i spent trying to download the battlefield '42 patch. Very Fun, and Although the MG nest is to close, it provides plenty challenge.

Just cerious, how did ya do it? It seems as if they are just regular MoH AI modified a bit for multiplay and put into the level like normal enemies in a SP map. Is that how it was done? If it is, then props to you, very clever.

One problem I found is that wasnt mentioned is that sometimes bots spawn in the wrong uniform. I killed alot of teammates that were in the enemy uniform and vice versa.

Perhaps the bots can be added to a map via string ?

Ex: "load map_hunt.bsp+bots" that way you can play any map with bots for good practice. dunno if it woild work though.

Hey JV Thanks for doing this. This is huge hopefully we can eventually we can use bots on every map. Just some questions. Will this work on Spearhead???? And Do you know how long till you will have a full level or more out???? Plz post back answering my questions.

Put it into your main folder. Run the multiplayer game. Click start game. Select objective. Select the map "mp_ai_beta". Click start game and your ready to roll!

bugs:
When the boots get's killed and respawns behind the wall/tank they never go in and kick ass again... can you fix it? :roll:

rofl I loaded it up from the maplist and just played with the AI it was fun in itself :lol: I was standing on the tank and sniping them when they'd get to the MG42's, one thing though is they shoot at you when they're not on a mg42 but if they're on one they won't shoot at you they only shoot at the other AI.
