I'd say these skins might offend Jewish people.

Hi :-)

Nice map :)

You should look at the following files:

main/pak0.pk3/models/static/body_german01.tik
main/pak0.pk3/models/static/body_us01.tik
main/pak0.pk3/models/static/body_*.tik

You can find these in radient (right click menu)

static/deadbodies/*here*

You can make your own tik's like the ones above with the shaders for the skin your friend has made.

eg, here is the default german one:

Code: Select all

TIKI
setup
{
	scale 0.52 // Set default scale to 16/30.5 since world is in 16 units per foot and model is in cm's
	path models/static/bodies
	skelmodel body_germ01.skd
	surface hand shader static_handsnew
	surface head shader static_dolf
	surface gear shader static_german_gear
	surface pants shader static_wehrmact_pants_fgrey
	surface jacket shader static_wehrmact_tunic_fieldgrey
	surface belt shader static_german_riflebelt
	surface helmet shader static_wehrmact_helmet
}

animations
{
		idle     body_germ01.skc
}

// The name in the QUAKED section is particularly important for static models.
// It needs to be all lowercase, and have underscores to mark sub-directories.
// I hope this name is acceptable tothe level designers.

/*QUAKED static_deadbodies_dday-german-base-pose-1 (0.5 0.0 0.5) (-32 -32 0) (32 32 128)
*/
You should be able to use shaders from normal skins, but I haven't had time to check. :wink:

simply create the following folder for your .pk3:

models/player/your_skin.tik, your_skin_fps.tik

then place your_skin.shader and your_skin textures in the proper folders (ie. scripts & textures), i create custom skins for my 676 series all the time. you may although, wish to create an seperate folder in textures for the skin textures (ie. textures/your_skins/your_skin textures
