I have created 8 arcs for windows in my map but I cant get the color to match the rest of the window even though I press natural and apply it.

I mean if the window is a dark grey the arch ends up a light grey looking stupid.

How can I correct the problem.

It's not going to. Some of the textures will come somewhat close, but not quite the same. If you want them to look the same, you'll have to make your arches out of brushes....

So when I compile the map it might be the correct colour.

if you are using patch mesh, they won't match

A tip for getting the arch to match a surrounding wall is to select it and use the middle mouse button on the surrounding wall works better than natural .

I never tried what bdbodger said, but, middle mouse "button", wheel, can be scrolled or clicked...hence button

mouse

If your mouse does not have a center mouse button, just right click the brush face with the texture you want to copy--while you have the arch patch selected.

You must have 3 button mouse marked in preferences to use the center button for copying textures.
